The first trailer has dropped for the very adult Australian psychodrama, Disclosure. The trailer release coincides with the news that the film will have its world premiere at the Palm Springs International Film Festival.
Disclosure tells the story of two couples who go to war over a 4-year-old child’s allegation. It’s a highly unsettling narrative, but a thrilling one at that.
Produced by Donna Lyon (Joe Cinque’s Consolation) and directed by Michael Bentham, Disclosure stars Geraldine Hakewill (The Pretend One), Mark Leonard Winter (Measure 4 Measure), Matilda Ridgway (Book Week) and Tom Wren (Secret City) who are all brilliant in their roles.
“Disclosure is a psycho-drama that explores the ferocious forces that are unleashed when your child is threatened or harmed,” Bentham told Cinema Australia early last year. “I was honoured to work with a dream cast who delivered an extraordinary ensemble performance. Disclosure tackles an important and pressing social issue, and I am very proud of the excitement and anticipation that our project is generating.”
You can find out more about Disclosure here. An Australian release date will be announced soon.
