Monsters of Man.
Firstly, Monsters of Man looks incredible!
The first trailer dropped yesterday and it’s enough to whet even the most staunch sci-fi fan’s appetite.
Monsters of Man follows a robotics company vying to win a lucrative military contract that team up with a corrupt CIA agent to conduct an illegal live field test. They deploy four weaponised prototype robots into a suspected drug manufacturing camp in the Golden Triangle, assuming they’d be killing drug runners that no one would miss. Six doctors on a humanitarian mission witness the brutal slaughter and become prime targets.
Monsters of Man was written and directed by Queensland-based filmmaker Mark Toia and was filmed in Cambodia. The film stars Neal McDonough (Band of Brothers), Brett Tutor, Jose Rosete (Walking Dead: Red Machete), David Haverty, Paul Haapaniemi, Tatjana Marjanovic, Conrad Pratt, Kayli Tran, Ryan Hough, Jessica Blackmore, Ly Ty, Taylor Leigh Edwards, Jordy Tulleners, Ma Rynet, David Samartin, Trong Kam and Michael Goldman.
An Indigogo campaign is currently running to help support the self-distribution of the film. You can find out more about the campaign here.
