With the easing of Covid19 restrictions it’s lights, camera and action for the Australia Independent Film Festival
Join filmmakers and film lovers this September at the iconic Elizabeth Cinemas in the heart of the Brisbane CBD for one of this year’s premiere short film festivals.
Ranked in the top 100 best reviewed film festivals on Film Freeway in 2019, AIFF20 will once again showcase the very best of Australian short films, International short films, documentaries, animations, experimental films and a surprising mix of films unique to the festival.
AIFF is a film festival by film makers for filmmakers and is proudly supported by the Queensland Government through Screen Queensland, Final Draft, Dragon Image Australia, Continuance Pictures, Five Star Pictures and Royal on the Park.

The Australia Independent Film Festival screens all official selection films and sends award trophies at no cost to all winners if not in attendance. With multiple screening sessions people will be spoilt for choice. The full programme will be released in August 15 at www.ausindefest.com/programme
Tickets may be purchased for a single screening session or as a festival pass for all sessions. Adult tickets are just $15 with Student / Pensioner tickets @ $12.50.
