“The beast is finally fucking coming!” Chris Sun announces Australian premiere of Boar

Director Chris Sun has announced the official Australian premiere of his highly anticipated gorefest, Boar.

Sun enthusiastically announced the May 19 premiere via a Facebook video on Tuesday night.

“I’m here to tell you all some great news,” Sun says in the video. “I can finally announced that Boar will have its official Australian premiere on the 19th of May. Only a few weeks away!”

The screening will take place at Majestic Cinemas in Nambour, Queensland with tickets going on sale Wednesday, May 2 at 7.30pm.

What’s promising to be a glamorous affair, the event will host various cast members including John Jarratt, Melissa Tkautz, Nathan Jones, Simone Buchanan, Emily Williams and Roger Ward. It’s hoped that Ernie Dingo and Hugh Sheridan can also make the event.

Sun could barely contain his excitement during the announcement exclaiming, “To be able to sit here and announce to you guys that we’re finally going to premiere is such a great feeling and a great relief. I’ll sleep for ten years after Boar comes out,” Sun laughs.
