Cinema Paradiso returns home to Palace Cinemas

Palace Cinemas announce they will reassume management of Cinema Paradiso, located on vibrant James Street in Perth’s Northbridge in mid-2018, as their exciting new Raine Square cinemas near completion.

Originally a Palace Cinema, Paradiso traded under the LunaPalace banner for two decades and now returns to its roots.  Palace’s custodianship would see Cinema Paradiso continue operating as a stylish and fully-licensed four screen complex, with its well-regarded program of quality new release and independent films intact.

Meanwhile, the new Palace Raine Square Cinemas will mark the return of the cinematic experience to the Perth CBD when they open mid-2018, screening the best of quality mainstream films.  Located on the top level of the new $75 million Raine Square redevelopment, the luxury complex features nine traditional cinemas and four Palace Platinum boutique screens with a private bar and lounge with stunning views of the city.

Both Perth locations will showcase Palace Cinemas’ trademark collection of international film festivals delivering the best of contemporary cinema from around the globe, as well as a carefully curated program of stage-to-screen content from the world’s foremost dance and theatre companies.

With two new Western Australian locations within the next six months, Palace Cinemas is poised to introduce the Perth audience to it¹s unique combination of entertainment hospitality; offering a premium yet affordable entertainment source within Perth and Northbridge,” he said.

With the addition of the two new locations Palace Cinemas will be operating 24 cinemas across Australia, including Palace Central in Sydney, Cinema Como in Melbourne, Palace Norton Street in Sydney and Palace Electric in Canberra.  The Palace brand is renowned for bringing style to the cinema experience.
