Introduction by Clifton Schulke
I would best describe The Arrow as a medieval action film where two enemy archers are pitted against each other in a deadly sniper style battle.
Approximately three months of pre-production went into The Arrow before finally shooting the film over one day in the Kalpowar State Forest.
Attention to details was pivotal, particularly the sound recording and sound editing/mixing to give the audience a truly immersive experience. The shots were designed by myself and cinematographer Peter Szilveszter (The Legend of Ben Hall) with the intention of the film being viewed on a big screen.
The Arrow is a short film but it’s actually a small part of a much larger idea, a feature film which is at it’s first draft stage.
