Principal photography begins on Broken Contract

Stars Esther Anderson and Christopher Morris on set.

Jag Pannu Productions, in association with VCR Media, has commenced principal photography in Perth on its action comedy Broken Contract.

Broken Contract is a story about Max, a down-on-his-luck club owner struggling to make ends meet. When a local gang threatens both his livelihood and his family, Max hires a hitman to protect the ones he loves. Before long, Max is blinded by his newfound power and soon finds himself spinning out of control as friends and enemies alike start disappearing. Gangsters, cross dressers, lovers and hitmen – a film where nobody can be trusted.

The film stars Esther Anderson (Siberia, Home and Away) as Detective Keeling and Christopher Morris (Offspring, Crownies), as Thigh High club owner, Max.

They are supported by a talented Western Australian cast including Chelsea Williamson (The Reckoning), Adam T Perkins (Zombie Ninjas vs T.R.G, The Guys) and James Hagan (The Great Mint Swindle, Little Sparrows).

A Gold and Silver Logie nominee, Anderson has recently returned from filming on NBC’s Siberia – a 13-part series about 16 contestants in a Survivor-type reality TV show before the film crew abandons them.

Morris too, has recently returned from a stint in Hollywood, having starred in the feature film Drive Hard alongside John Cusack, Thomas Jane and fellow Australian, Zoe Ventoura.

The film was written by writer/director James Pentecost (Twisted Minds) and produced by Hayden Fortescue.

Those interested are encouraged to keep up to date with the film’s production through its Facebook page where exclusive behind-the-scenes interviews, pictures, and videos with Anderson and Morris will be uploaded each day –
