Umbrella Entertainment has dropped the official trailer and poster for new Australian film, Storm Bird.
Filmed in the Far north Queensland town of Babinda, Storm Bird is a character driven comedy-drama that follows Richard Hollingsworth (Anthony Phelan), a once-revered classical musician, now reclusive nihilist, living out his final months in tropical North Queensland.
When Jack (James Ivor), a crass, working-class neighbour facing jail time, saves him from a sudden heart attack, their lives unexpectedly intertwine.

Together with Carla (Serena Van Sandalwood), a sharp New York author documenting Richard’s life, the three unlikely companions spend a transformative weekend together, journeying deep into the rainforest and forging unexpected bonds across social divides, whilst confronting the sobering reality that each of their lives is about to change drastically.
Storm Bird is directed by James Ivor and Eryk Lenartowicz, written and produced by James Ivor through his production company, Jam Tin Productions, and co-produced by Caden Pearson.
Storm Bird will premiere on August 6 in Queensland, followed by screenings across Australia.
