A teaser trailer has dropped for Andreas Toumbas’ feature film debut, Bad Influence.
Independently made, Bad Influence is described as a passion project for Andreas who began writing the film at the beginning of 2018.
Cast and crew, including cinematographers Ben Gagelar and Stephen Mylonas, shot the film once a week over six months at Andreas’s parents home in the south-western suburbs of Sydney.
Bad Influence follows introvert Anthony who attends his best friend Nick’s housewarming party. Things start to go from bad to worse when loud-mouthed Steve arrives and Anthony struggles to control the troublesome and increasingly alcohol-fuelled guest.
The film’s mission is to bring light to the serious problem of binge drinking and the negative impacts it brings to individuals and the community.
Bad Influence stars Chris Charteris, Andreas Toumbas, Amelia Conway, Martin Reyes, Kerstyn Walsh, Steve Maresca and Vanessa Madrid.
Bad Influence is anticipating a June 2020 release. You can find out more about the film here.
