Revelation Film Festival receives accreditation as a Qualifying AACTA Film Festival

Revelation Perth International Film Festival has received accreditation as a Qualifying AACTA Film Festival.

The accreditation means that Australian films selected to screen at the Revelation Perth International Film Festival will be eligible for the annual AACTA Awards.

Revelation Festival Director Richard Sowada said it was great recognition for the festival.

“We’re delighted to be working actively with AACTA/AFI as a Qualifying film festival for the AACTA Awards and we look forward to being a major gateway for Australian independent filmmakers to consideration,” Richard said.

“Rev has a great tradition of supporting high-risk, high-concept work of all forms and if we can play a part in bringing film makers one step closer to national and international recognition, we’re doing our job.”
