The swagman is not so jolly in the second trailer for Roger Scott’s The Marshes

The second trailer has dropped for new Australian horror film, The Marshes, giving us our first real look at Eddie Baroo’s violent swagman.

“Our amazing Editor Jess has gone above and beyond to cut another exciting trailer for the film,” The Marshes director Roger Scott told Cinema Australia. “We hope audiences like it as much as we do.”

In the middle of nowhere is a labyrinthine marshland teetering on the verge of extinction.

Committed to saving it is Dr Pria Anan using diligence and reason to fight the forces of ignorance that threaten its existence. With rival Ben and assistant Will helping her Pria is certain she is in control but her fears threaten to overwhelm her, tensions mount and control becomes elusive.

Finally fear becomes manifest in the form of a horrifying evil; they must abandon science and focus on survival.

“We are very excited to see The Marshes on the big screen at A Night Of Horror Film Festival and we hope our new trailer will help get audiences excited too,” Scott said.

As if tourist’s need another reason to fear the Australia outback – they now have the malignant ghost of the swagman to worry about while looking over their shoulder for Mick Taylor.
