More details of Red Billabong’s secretive plot are revealed in the film’s brand new trailer.

Our final look at Luke Sparke’s Australian creature feature before its theatrical release also includes our first real look at the film’s monster and leaves us asking one question. What is it?

“Being just a month out of the premiere, we’re excited to lift our curtain for the final time and reveal some more details on just what the film is about – and the first good look at the creature,” Sparke told Cinema Australia. “This trailer is all about the emotional core of the film: The brothers, played by Dan Ewing and Tim Pocock, and i’m really excited to show their story in a month or so to Australia. There’s a few hidden things in the trailer that weren’t in the same shots of the last few trailers – so much more is to be revealed in cinemas!”

In the Australian Outback, two brothers discover old secrets and family lies. As their friends start to go missing they fear they are being stalked by someone, or something from their worst nightmares – But is it just – A story? A legend? A hoax? Or is it real?

Red Billabong stars Home & Away’s Dan Ewing and Dance Academy favourite Tim Pocock. Sophie Don, Jessica Green (Lightning Point), Ben Chisholm, John Reynolds, Emily Joy and James Straiton also star along with Felix Williamson (Underbelly: Razor, The Great Gatsby) and Gregory Fryer (The Sapphires). 

The Queensland production company, SparkeFilms, has teamed up with distributor Pinnacle Films (Dallas Buyers ClubPredestination, Healing) and international sales agent, Arclight Films, who is handling sales on the project.
