Brett Lee set to bowl over Perth with unINDIAN

Hitting the big screen on October 15 is unIndian featuring the debut performance of Australian cricketer Brett Lee, who co-stars with internationally acclaimed actress Tannishtha Chatterjee. unIndian follows the chequered path of Aussie bloke Will (Lee) as he attempts to woo Meera; a beautiful Indian single mother living in Sydney, but her family believes that falling in love with a blonde haired Australian is not only scandalous – it’s un-Indian!

Entertaining and genuinely funny, unIndian touches cleverly on cultural differences with a charming love story at its centre. Lee has his debut along an all-star support cast with appearances from Indian theatre and Bollywood icons and a host of Aussie cameo appearances.

On Monday 12 October, the two stars and their producer and director of the movie Anupam Sharma will greet fans before attending a closed VIP screening with guests from the film and entertainment industry, politics, the Indian community and media.

One special screening is open to the general public on Monday October 12, with tickets now on sale (for a flat $15 ticket price). The screening includes an exclusive Q&A session at the end where guests can ask a question of the film’s stars and director. Tickets are on sale now available from Readings Belmont Cinema, or purchase them online here.

All guests will enjoy the Bollywood experience with performances from Bollywood Bhangra fusion dance crew JHOOM! and the sounds of drummer Dholi Hanzo.

unIndian will be released on October 15 at Readings Belmont, Greater Union Morley, Hoyts Carousel, Hoyts Garden City, Hoyts Southlands and United Rockingham
