Wide Angle Tasmania’s Raw Nerve calls for applications

Now in its eighth year in Tasmania, Wide Angle Tasmania is proud to deliver Raw Nerve 2015, a national production initiative of Screen Australia and Screen Network.

This year, Raw Nerve will select three teams with an early career director to make short films that explore the theme of ‘One Night’. An industry panel will select the three early career practitioners to receive a support package valued at over $20 000.

Each film will have a duration of between five and seven minutes and can be documentary, comedy, animation or drama; and, will be screened in a cinema and assessed for broadcast on ABC 2 and ABC iView.

If you are a writer, director or producer who would like to be involved, be sure to attend Wide Angle’s networking event, Team Up for Raw Nerve 2015. Click for further information, applications and guidelines.
