Always wanted to make your own films? The 48 Hour Film Project is a fantastic opportunity for new, budding and established film-makers to gain experience,connections, recognition and possibly prizes!

The 48HPF is a wild, sleepless, marvelous, illuminating, manic, inspiring, savage and (mostly) enjoyable weekend of artistic experiment; in which you and your chosen dream team make a film.

On Friday September 5th we will provide you with the essentials: a genre, a line of dialogue, a prop and a character to include in your film. 48 hours later you submit your film to be judged and screened at the Australian Centre for the Moving Image (ACMI).

WARNING: This can be a formidable experience and is not for the weak hearted. You have to write, cast, edit, score and title a film in just 48 hours whilst struggling with no sleep and (most likely) poor diet.

So expect the unexpected, pull together your dream team and get those creative juices flowing because anything can happen in 48 hours… and it usually does.
