Calling all wannabe actors: Warm up your acting skills this winter with NIDA

This winter holidays get ready to flex your acting skills as the National Institute for Dramatic Art brings their popular acting classes to Perth.

Head of NIDA Open, Caroline Spence says there are a great range of classes on offer, giving anyone from young kids to adults the chance to find their creative voice through fun and unique arts experiences.

“This school holidays, we are making it easier to get involved with NIDA by taking our great short courses on the road to share with people right across the country,” Caroline says.

“Whether you are looking for intensive training to build your acting skills, or you just want to try something new, NIDA has a class to suit you. The classes cover the different elements that go into creating a performance, including acting, movement and voice work.

“Drama classes are also a great way to develop communication skills, explore spontaneity through improvisation and build confidence.”

All courses are delivered by NIDA’s expert tutors who bring a range of professional experience across theatre, TV and film.

Some of the great classes on offer these winter holidays include:
• Drama School – a great course for young people to develop their performance skills including improvisation, voice, movement, acting and rehearsal techniques.
• NIDA Actors Project – Experience the core of NIDA’s world-renowned actor training. Working with our professional graduates, create voice, movement and performance projects for presentation to an audience.
