Perth filmmaker Giles Chan’s new short film Interview follows an anxious woman desperately looking for work tries to survive a job interview.

Giles Chan was born in Hong Kong and moved to Australia at the age of seven. He studied English Literature at university while writing, directing and producing his first feature film Jellyfish. It played locally in Perth, WA at the WA Made Film Festival, and is releasing on Amazon Prime in 2026. His latest project is the drama/thriller short film Interview.

Giles is an editor of film and commercial projects. In 2025, he was nominated for an Emerging Editor award with the Australian Screen Editors guild.

Interview is written and directed by Giles Chan and produced by Aimee Donaldson and Giles Chan. Interview stars Nicoletta Dimas and Warren Lyons.
