Thanks to our friends at Umbrella Entertainment, we’re giving away copies of two great new Australian films, Paper Champions and Koko: A Red Dog Story.

Produced by Nelson Woss (Red Dog) and Lauren Brunswick (Top Knot Detective), Koko: A Red Dog Story was written and directed by Dominic Pearce and Aaron McCann (Top Knot Detective).  Jason Isaacs (Peter Pan) narrates.

In this endearing tale, we follow the story of Koko – the dog who played Red Dog in the first film of the same name. Koko’s strange good fortune and innate ability to connect with people allows him to navigate his local community, the world of show dog competitions and eventually the movie entertainment business.

Koko: A Red Dog Story releases on Home Entertainment on November 4.

Feel good Aussie comedy Paper Champions follows the story of Rey, a young man who having lost his “mana”, sets out to defy the odds in search of love. In Polynesian cultures, “mana” refers to strength, confidence and an ability to influence situations for one’s gain. Unfortunately for Rey, a reserved, routine-loving photocopier salesman, he seems to have lost his – and just as he’s started falling for a nurse he’s met by chance.

As his family, co- workers, Spanish dance teacher and an ex-wrestler all try to re-engineer his lost moxie, could a mojo makeover be enough to ignite a romance waiting in the wings?

Set and shot in Geelong, Paper Champions is a playful Australian rom-com filled with moments both uplifting and uproariously funny.

Paper Champions releases on Home Entertainment on November 4.
