Why am I REQUIRED to tick sign me up for the newsletter when I am already signed up? Isn’t that how I got notification of this post? Or is it something different in addition to the emails I already get?

The movie danger close battle of long tan was a great movie. Should have shown in more movies places and on tv
Great movie
Brilliant movie. Very emotional as my late partner was a Vet.He was in the early call up and spent twelve months in Vietnam
The best war movie I have ever seen in recent memory. There are so many great war films that it’s difficult to list all of them. None of them can touch Danger Close. I have never watched one of these films and been as involved, as drawn in, and as on the edge of my seat as I was with Danger Close. This movie deserves many Gold Logies…
Best movie I have seen this year. Served in both 3/4 Cavalry Regiment and B Company 6 RAR in the 1980. The film did the battle justice and gave our Vietnam Veterans (Heroes) the recognition the deserve.
Magnificent in all respects.
Bloody good movie and you can take that comment from one who was there on the gun line at 161 Battery.
A truly definitive movie brilliantly made & acted. Those involved should be justly proud of the movie they made. It is totally emotive & has had appeal to all ages. This is our history. History showing young Australian Soldier’s courage & determination to carry out their duty’s for their country. I’ve not met anyone who has not been effected by this movie.
Brilliantly made & deserving of an award.
The movie was awesome, especially to see the story line there as well, to top it off I had a tear in the eye, when the song “he was only 19” was played
Bit of bullshit that we have to tick yes for your newsletter.
Are you that desperate to inflate your circulation figures?
Will probably spamblock it anyway.

This brings back so many memories for me as a Nasho serving in the early seventies.
Loved this movie funny and thought provoking
Terrific Aussie cinema..
Danger close was ripped off by AACTA, I hope I wins this Award it’s the best film all year in my eyes., And how in God’s name did Kriv Stenders not get nominated for best director , This is An Australian Masterpiece, and will be up there as one of the best if not the best Vietnam war film of all time
And how the bloody hell Daniel Webber not get nominated for best lead actor
Or luke bracey ,Anthony hayse, or Richard Roxbury for best support,
AACTA should of went to spec-savers
Best movie from anywhere that I have seen in a long time
