STATUS In Production

CINEMA AUSTRALIA SAY Robert Connolly expressed so much excitement for this film when we spoke to him mid 2013, especially about filming in WA. Robert told us, “I like filming here. Western Australia has some amazing locations and an incredibly talented and strong film industry. The state government has some incredible incentives to film here. It’s a really great time for the film industry in Western Australia.”
With a strong cast led by Worthington and LaPaglia as well and Puberty Blues’ and Underbelly’s Ed Oxenbould, Paper Planes should have no problems attracting an audience. We’re looking forward to seeing how Connolly’s go-to cinematographer, Tristan Milani, handles the 3D aspect of the film.

ARCLIGHT FILMS SAY Paper Planes is a family film that tells the story of a young boy’s passion for flight and his journey to compete in the world paper plane championships in Japan. This universal heart warming journey of a young boy and his father reconnecting after a family’s struggle will have us cheering them all the way to the world championships of paper plane flying.
