Puzzle Box
Enjoy your stay! Fresh off a successful North American debut, the twisted Australian horror Puzzle Box is set to terrify audiences in Australia and the UK when it lands on VOD this Friday, April 18.
Puzzle Box is an unsettling found-footage nightmare that will settle in the pit of your stomach like a stone. The story follows Kait, a desperate addict who seeks refuge in a remote house in the woods to self-rehabilitate, where she is joined by her younger sister Olivia to document the process. Little do they know, the house harbours a dark secret, its very walls shifting and twisting like a nightmarish labyrinth, ensnaring them in an unfathomable puzzle. As they claw for answers with each twist and turn, they awaken an unspeakable evil lurking within, far more terrifying than their own demons. As they race against time to unlock the mystery and break free, fear takes on new dimensions, where every step could lead to their terrifying demise.
The film made its world premiere at Florida’s Popcorn Frights Film Festival before making waves on the global horror circuit, with stops at A Night of Horror (Australia), Dead of Night (UK), and the Unnamed Footage Festival (USA)—the top destination for found-footage fans.
Starring Kaitlyn Boyé (The Furies), Laneikka Denne (Salt Along the Tongue), Cassandre Girard (Thor: Love and Thunder), and Janelle McMenamin (Interceptor), Puzzle Boxcomes from producers Jack Dignan and Morgan Wright under Repeater Productions, whose recent documentary Iron Winter premiered at Visions du Rue. Distributed by Welcome Villain Films in the US, the film is being released internationally by Bitmax and Repeater Productions.
