Vineyard Ablaze
In this unsettling psychodrama/thriller, Minerva endeavours to connect and care for her grandmother Vina who is experiencing dementia. Together they are confronted with an amalgam of colliding memories, nightmares and dreams that will test their limits.
Vineyard Ablaze is an enigma, questioning home care, coercive control and the divide between generations, revealing that there are no easy answers.
Sensory Echo Films’ first feature length film, Vineyard Ablaze is written, directed and edited by Troy Blackman and produced by Emma-Lee and Troy Blackman. Behind the camera features the skills of Pranish Singh as camera operator and lighting; and Boris Borokhov for sound recording/design. The film features the acting talent of Sandra Bradshaw-West, Madeleine Burgess, Justin Moore, Blair Allen, Tenielle Thompson, Paul Wentford and Ruby Stevens.
