Black Cat Film Productions has dropped the first trailer for its new teen slasher web series, Prom Queen. 

Directed by Sarah Stephenson, Prom Queen follows three best friends who are nominated to be the annual Prom Queen of their high school. 

A few days prior to the Prom, two of the girls receive threatening notes and phone calls from an unknown stalker. It’s up to the girls to work out who the stalker is before he attempts to murder them at the Prom.

Stephenson’s previous films include the pandemic documentary The Lockdown and Attack of the Cat People, a black and white film inspired by the Universal monster films of the 1920s.

Prom Queen stars Danica Van Rensburg, Alastair Orr, Angelina Mustafay, Indea-Rose Sekula, David O’Honghoe, Darcy Vejins, Stu Kirk, Wayne Bassett and Michelle Brass.

A release date is yet to be announced.
