S&R Films boards global sales for Luke Sparke’s Fight For Your Life

Scatena & Rosner Films (S&R) has locked worldwide sales rights to the supernatural action film Fight for Your Life, from writer and director Luke Sparke, with plans to present the title to buyers at the 2023 Cannes Film Festival.

Coming off Sparke’s recent successes with the sci-fi action franchise, Occupation (Saban Films), Devil Beneath (Vertical Entertainment, sold by S&R), and the upcoming Bring Him to Me (Rialto Distribution), his new picture will be capitalizing on the state-of-the-art production and SFX infrastructure he and his team have built in Australia under the Sparke Films banner.

Now in pre-production, Fight for Your Life is a tense and action-packed story following an ex-special forces soldier who wakes up in a mysterious cell and is forced to face an onslaught of deadly opponents in an ever-changing fight arena. Can he face his demons and survive long enough to return to his daughter?

“This is the kind of action-packed, wild ride that I go to the theatres for and hit the ‘rent’ button on. It’s as simple as that,” says S&R’s Gato Scatena. “I know the story is going to really excite audiences, but having worked with Luke and his team before, I’m equally confident that the completed and polished product is going to set the film above and apart from any comparable titles.”

“We’re looking forward to continuing our relationship with S&R Films on this mind-bending project that Luke has conjured up. It’s a fantastic piece. Lots of layers and of course lots of action, stunts and effects. It’s a blast! We can’t wait to start filming very soon,” says Sparke Films’ Carly Sparke.

Fight for Your Life is written and directed by Luke Sparke along with writing duties to Tom Evans (Bring Him To Me) and produced by Carmel Imrie and Carly Sparke with Luke Sparke and Geoff Imrie as executive producers. The production is being filmed in Australia.

The deal was negotiated between Gato Scatena for S&R and Luke Sparke on behalf of the filmmakers. S&R’s Jordan Rosner will be heading international sales. Luke Sparke is repped by Mark Morrissey of Morrissey Management.
