Trailer and release date revealed for “utterly nerve-shredding” horror, After She Died

After She Died.

Jack Dignan’s new Australian horror, After She Died, will be available via video-on-demand next Friday, 13 January.

After She Died follows Jen, a young woman who’s mother suddenly dies.

Her relationship with her father, John, is fractured beyond repair. Her friends, all recent high school graduates, are moving on with their lives and leaving behind the small town they once called home. Jen is, in every sense of the word, alone.

That is until John introduces Jen to his new girlfriend, Florence… a woman who looks and sounds identical to Jen’s dead mother.

“It’s been two years since I mustered up an eager group of up and comers, both in front of and behind the camera, to bring to life a little horror script called After She Died. We had no money, no studio backing and no guaranteed distribution, but we had a story we were passionate about and a vision to bring it to life,” says Dignan.

“Thanks to the hard work of over 70 incredible people, the script I wrote for fun back in 2019 was brought to the big screen the only way we knew how – by doing it ourselves. No financial setbacks or the ever-looming pandemic could stop us – although the latter did halt production halfway through for over 100 days. We gave this film our all and I couldn’t be prouder of the final product. I like this movie a lot. I hope you like it too.”

After She Died is written, produced and directed by Dignan, and stars Liliana Ritchie, Vanessa Madrid, Paul Talbot, Adam Golledge, Annabelle Andrew, Mariah Stock and Noah Fowler.
