You’re Not Thinking Straight is a bold and daring debut which follows a young man (George Ronsin) who locks himself in a public bathroom and reflects on the sex worker (Sage Godrei) who stole his heart in a series of nightmarish flashbacks.
Sullivan is more recently known for his sophomore feature film, Reflections in the Dust, which saw the 26-year-old filmmaker nominated for Best Direction in a Feature Film Under $1M at the 2020 Australian Directors’ Guild Awards.
Reflections in the Dust had a controversial world premiere at the 53rd Karlovy Vary International Film Festival in the Czech Republic (with both walkouts and a standing ovation) and was recently renewed until 2022 on Australian streamer Stan due to popular demand, while also making noise on Binge, SBS and Foxtel Now.
Sullivan recently announced he has completed his latest script, The Children We Once Were.
You’re Not Thinking Straight will be released on YouTube via High Octane Pictures.
