Australia’s Funniest Shorts is calling for comedians, funny people and filmmakers to submit comedy short films and sketches for this year’s festival.

The festival showcases short comedy films (between 3 and 8 minutes) and sketches (up to 3 minutes) and offers prize money for the best judged in each category.

Australia’s Funniest Shorts is pleased to announce the winning sketch will be broadcast on Comedy Channel! 

FUNNIEST SKETCH – $500 cash prize proudly presented by the Comedy Channel.

FUNNIEST SHORT FILM – $1000 cash prize presented by Vulture Culture.

The shorts must have been produced between January 1 2014 and April 22 2016

Entry forms for Australia’s Funniest Shorts are now available on www.funniestshorts.com.au and the deadline for entries is 22 April 2016.
