Amalume Films (Pretty Good Friends) have announced the premiere date of their third feature film, Free of Thought.

Free Of Thought examines the romantic, domestic and working relationships shared by John and Mel, a young Australian couple in their mid-twenties. Exploring the ideas of love, ambition and compromise through a unique sense of pacing and time, the film offers a fresh perspective on what it means to share your life with another person.

Written and directed by emerging talent, Nathan Barillaro, Free of Thought is Nathan’s second feature, following his mind-bending, 2013 cult-hit, Metaffliction.

Free of Thought stars John Russell and Melissa Jade Gardner and is shot by cinematographer Tom Swinburn with sound by Sophie Townsend and assistant director, Jenni Townsend.

Amalume is an independent collective who seek to create original and unique Australian feature films.
