Australian comedy film festival, Rottofest is calling for comedians, funny people and filmmakers to submit comedy short films and filmed sketch entries to be screened at this year’s Rottofest in September.
The funniest selected short films (up to 8 minutes) and filmed sketches (up to 3 minutes) will be judged by a panel of leading industry experts, with two major prizes awarded:
- Funniest Short Film – $1,000 cash prize
- Funniest Filmed Sketch – $500 cash prize
Entry forms for Australia’s Funniest Shorts are now available for download at www.rottofest.com.au
The deadline for entries is 15 August 2014.
Rottofest 2014 will take place on Rottnest Island from Friday, 19 September to Sunday, 21 September 2014. The complete line-up, ticketing and accommodation details will be announced in June.
