Burns Point a crime drama directed by Tim Blackburn, announced its lead cast members recently via the film’s social media. The cast includes longstanding Australian talent such as John McNeil (Underbelly, Blue Murder, Dirty Deeds) and Ron Kelly (Sea Patrol, Crooked Business) and fast rising stars Andrew Lowe (Ashburn Waters), Francesca Bianchi (House Husbands, It’s a Date) and Aleisha Rose Groth (Toybox, Arrowhead).
Joining the film’s crew is cinematographer Kent Marcus. Kent’s previous short Don’t Love Thy Neighbour has had international success and he has several features currently in post production. Kent is from Sydney and looks forward to filming in the Northern Rivers region. “I can’t wait to get started, there really is a unique environment here in Northern NSW. The coastal region meets the farming district and everything in between, it’s going to look amazing on screen” says Kent.
