Tomorrow night will decide whether or not Baz Lurhmann will have to add an extension to his house as the second round of AACTA awards are announced.
After the American produced The Great Gatsby took home every feature film award at Tuesday’s first announcement – or the ones considered too boring for television – Cinema Australia is hoping the old sport shares the love and awards some Australian funded films for their efforts.
We’d love to see The Turning take home the best picture AACTA. Robert Connolly’s adaptation of Tim Winton’s novel is a great sign of things to come for Australian cinema and a breathtaking collaboration of some of Australia’s finest filmmakers.
If you missed any of the films nominated for best film and don’t have time to catch them before tomorrow night, we’ve included the trailers below for your viewing pleasure. Enjoy.
