Triple J’s Hack listeners where treated to a special interview with acclaimed director and cinematographer Warwick Thornton this afternoon about his new flick, The Darkside.

Thornton told host Tom Tilly that after Samson & Delilah he spent a long time travelling and made the film because he had some “bar tabs to settle,” and a curiosity about the role of the dead among the living.
