It’s here! Brendan Cowell’s highly anticipated telemovie The Outlaw Michael Howe hits the small screen this Sunday, 1st December. No doubt it’ll also be available on iView.

If the trailer is anything to go by, the film looks very cinematic and could probably have deserved a theatrical release, but we’re not complaining.

In 1815 a young convict leads a wretched guerrilla army of outlaws, deserters and bushmen in open rebellion against the morally corrupt government on the notorious prison settlement of Van Diemen’s Land.
