Two Australian films will screen as part of the 17th Canberra International Film Festival.
Sarah Spillane’s Around The Block will feature on Sunday, November 10 at 6pm.
Written and directed by Spillane, Around The Block stars Christina Ricci as an American eager to bring her love of Shakespeare to the diverse student population of Sydney’s notorious Block. Ricci stars along side Australians Hunter Page-Lochard, Jack Thompson and Ruby Rose as her character’s love interest.
Attendants will be treated to a Q&A following the screening.
Second up is Mark Hartley’s highly anticipated remake of Patrick on Friday, November 1 at 10am.
The critically acclaimed Patrick is the story of a psychic, telekinetic, comatose patient getting horny over his beautiful new nurse.
