Three Australian films have been nominated for their original screenplays at this years AWGIE Awards.

Morgan O’Neill has been nominated for surfer flick Drift, Kim Mordaunt for critically acclaimed The Rocket and Joel Edgerton for the highly anticipated Falony.

Our money is on Joel Edgerton for Falony directed by Cloud Street’s Matthew Saville and staring Melissa George and Jai Courtney.

Not Suitable for Children was the winner of last years award.
