A fresh and colourful trailer has dropped for Pencilhead’s Safari So Good ahead of the educational short film’s world premiere at the Revelation Perth International Film Festival.

Illustrated by Jason Sampson, Pencilhead’s Safari So Good introduces the world to the Pencilhead Gang – Lizzie, Blade, Carol, Arnie, Andy, Maarli, Cassie and Pencilhead – a special group of friends who like to look at the world in unexpected ways!

The gang is owned by a small child who loves to draw and while no one is around, they travel though magic shapes to places around the world.

Lead by Pencilhead, this animated bunch of drawing tools cooperate to find creative solutions to their problems leading to laughs, songs and (most importantly) some awesome drawings!

With a strong edutainment model, the Gang teaches virtues like cooperation, encouragement and friendship and skills including drawing, singing and safety.

The Pencilhead crew is voiced by Peter Rowsthorn (Pencilhead), Ian McFadyen (Blade and Andy), Mark Mitchell (Narrator and Arnold), Deanna Cooney (Lizzy), Sally-Anne Upton (Cassie) and Gina Williams (Maarli).

Aimed at children aged 3-5 years, Pencilhead’s Kids Club is the perfect catalyst for discovering the environment, social interactions, and historical events – all through the perspective of young artists.

Pencilhead’s Kids Club is created by Black Wax Entertainment, a Perth-based, Australia-wide group of producers, entrepreneurs, teachers, promoters, designers, videographers, tech gurus, marketing wizards, award winners, and charity champions. A creative bunch. A passionate bunch. A driven bunch. And they make TV!
