Kasia Stelmach in Box: Metaphor

A new trailer and premiere date has been announced for Kevin Khachan’s new sci-fi thriller, Box: Metaphor.
Box: Metaphor is writer and director Kevin Khachan’s third feature following Red Rabbit Lodge and Remnants. Produced by Studio Magnetica, the new film is said to pay tribute to women empowerment
Box: Metaphor follows a female protagonist, Prisoner 9173 (Kasia Stelmach The Great Gatsby, Ten Pound Poms), who is trapped in an iron box, victimised and tortured for several years for a crime she did not commit.
Through the narrow opening in the box, we get a glimpse into an abstract dystopian world. A metaphor for societal constructs and preconceptions that bind us all.
The film is a cross between Cube (1997) and Escape from Alcatraz (1979). Box: Metaphor is set in a dystopian world, having a similar aesthetic to The Hunger Games franchise. The stunning cinematography by Jason Von Drayco is accompanied by a mesmerising score that enhances the viewer experience.
The Box: Metaphor red carpet screening will be held at Ritz Cinemas, Randwick on Tuesday, 27th June and 5:30pm. Ticket and details here.
